Influences
This page is designed to share links and thoughts about topics that are influential in my practice.
I met some amazing people at the Annual Labyrinth Gathering that was held in Oct. '09 in Portland. One notable labyrinth designer was Ronald Esquivel from Costa Rica. Not only has he designed labyrinths employing sacred geometry but he catalogs the powerful effects of each particular pattern, noting differences and dowsed energy levels of each. Check out his new e-book, downloadable for $20 at www.LabyrinthDesign.net . His regular website is in Spanish but if you can read it check it out. I understand it has lots about personal growth and metaphysics, all for free, which is part of Ronald's mission. Take a look at www.biocreacion.com .
The Sound and Consciousness Institute is my most recent Alma Mater. The website is packed with information on Sound Healing, Recording and Virtual Reality . The virtual link is particularly fun to explore. Learn about the new directions that sound healing is taking. Imagine that you could send the vibration of your favorite healing music directly to the organ that most needs that healing touch, while you watch an image of that organ with the virtual reality eye wear. Make sure you plug in your headset for the fullest effect. http://www.soundhealingcenter.com/
I'd like to bring attention to a local labyrinth networking group called Labyrinth Network Northwest. Please check this site out. It lists labyrinth events around the NW on its calendar page, has great cached articles in the newsletter area, and offers quarterly events for the public, often for free. Membership is very inexpensive ($10) and limited to NW regional residents. Members are eligible to apply for scholarships to labyrinth workshops and conferences, and often receive discounts for local events. www.labyrinthnetworknorthwest.org
For more labyrinth love visit www.veriditas.org and check out the Labyrinth Locator in one of the top buttons. You can find labyrinths all around the world. Lauren Artress is the founder of this organization, also the person with whom I trained to become a labyrinth facilitator all those years ago. She's the mother of the labyrinth resurgence in the US and that's just private opinion, but there are many others who agree.
www.ifsguild.org will get you to the International Feng Shui Guild's website. You can sign up for a free newsletter about FS if you like. Also find a practitioner in your neck of the woods.
The spiritual teacher that I refer to in the intro to my Blog, on the Sound Healing page, is Leslie Temple-Thurston. Leslie is a native of South Africa and among other things, a light worker on the earth grid meridian that extends from South Africa, through the pyramids at Giza in Egypt, and on up into the Michael line in Europe, home of Glastonbury and mythical/mystical Avalon. I studied with her intensively for 4 years in the late 90's. She's been a pivotal influence in my life and I encourage you to visit the site of her service organization called Corelight at www.corelight.org I would not be who I am today without her guidance and support.
