The Divine Name at Labyrinth House
September 24 - 25, 2010

The Divine Name is a sacred sounding practice that is encoded in our DNA and can initiate profound healing when intoned. It was once known in guarded circles of the religious practices of half the world's population, then lost for almost 2,500 years, and now has been made available again through the work of world renowned Sound Healer Jonathan Goldman. The profound healing to the body and spirit that this universal sound makes possible should not be underestimated. It affects the subtle body, resonates the physical body and helps establish the new human consciousness that the current times are calling for. It is not specific to any particular religious practice and is available to all who seek to live in unity consciousness.

This 10 hour workshop spans two days. We will begin Friday night with a general exploration of Sound Healing for transformation and then work more and more specifically until the culmination on Saturday afternoon with the intonation of the Divine Name.

We will also employ the labyrinth and its underlying sacred geometry to help seal the practice into the physical body. No particular vocal skill is required.

Pilgrimage Into the Dark

This class is called a Pilgrimage because we head into the unknown, travel lightly and with an open mind, ready to receive guidance. We understand that we will get lost, meet unexpected challenges, feel vulnerable and out of our comfort zone. We release the idea of destination and open ourselves to the journey, understanding that a commitment to our soul's health will bring the right people, the perfect circumstances and grace-filled moments to light our way.

This 6 week class will take you inward to meet and nourish the light of your soul in the dark time of year when our natural rhythm pulls us toward tending our soul life. Ironically consumer society has worked hard to turn this dark time into one of the biggest outward displays of the year - the holidays. Instead let's slow to the pace of heart knowing and find peace and wisdom from within.
